• Position interfaces with Sales teams/vendors or customers regarding basic sales metrics/ analyses and reports from NCR Sales / vendors reporting tools; Interfaces with customers regarding the installation/product delivery activity and ensure that installation/delivery is completed to the customer’s satisfaction; Interfaces with NCR IT organizations to complete detailed business, processes & technical requirements• Responsible for providing and analyzing install metric data to customer and internal organizations; Maintains issue Control & Follow up reports; Performs account Data Collection and is capable of analyzing same• Position will be accountable for the custom inventory management of the US customer base and will ensure that all custom inventory requirements are identified and met; Responsible for the management of inventory within min/max levels as well as the elimination of E&O• Serve as the key interface/liaison between Sales Support, Sales, Master Scheduling and the CMS internal support organizations that include the Customer Service Center, CMS Marketing, CMS Pricing and Global Operations (Manufacturing & Distribution) with regards to any custom product issues• Position will work closely with Sales, Sales Support, and Operations to coordinate the best practices to facilitate the daily business flow regarding custom product manufacturing from inception through completion meeting customer needs• Participate in daily production meetings articulating requirements and escalating critical requests; Responsible for ensuring that Consumable accounts continue to thrive in the partnership with NCR• Work with the Sales Support and Operations to facilitate resolution of customer-specific issues that are mutually beneficial to NCR and the customer; Promote customer confidence in NCR CMS, which will lead to long term business relationships• Has accountability for ensuring that assigned accounts are being properly serviced by NCR in a manner that reflects NCR Consumables commitment to delivering high quality products and services; Executes global Processes for revenue recognition per policy guidelines• Responds to customer needs as problems or issues related to product quality, delivery or inventory levels arise, but also looks for opportunities in which he/she can provide added value beyond the scope of the product in assigned accounts• Coordinate custom and stock orders, maintain custom inventory levels at acceptable levels, and work directly with Sales, Manufacturing and Pricing to resolve day-to-day operations involving product availability, quality, ERP set ups, etc• Gives and receives feedback to and from the customer, Sales and NCR managers, colleagues and Sales Operations in a continuous effort to meet the customer's business needs• Uses effective questioning techniques to probe for information, understanding and agreement; Effectively responds to customer inquiries, problems and/or other customer communication in a timely respectful and tactful approach• Develops meaningful business relationships based on mutual value and trust with individuals at various levels within NCR and the customer location; Responds constructively to minimize difficult or negative issues and partners with internal support groups to ensure total customer care• Actively seeks out new opportunities to self-improve through continuous education regarding new ideas, products, industry market trends, customers and competition• Utilizes all methods of education including reading the business section of newspapers, studying customer public literature, asking for feedback from Managers and researching the competition's literature and web sites
