This Hospital At Home Project Specialist positon is funded by grant resource funds. At such time as the grant funds are unavailable or based on business needs, this position may be eliminated. Job Summary:

The Hospital at Home Project Specialist will work closely with Roper St. Francis Healthcare (?RSFH?) and Bon Secours Mercy Health, Inc. (?BSMH?) leaders to support the development and operationalization of the Hospital at Home Delivery System throughout varying markets of both organizations. Working in collaboration with stakeholders from acute or ambulatory care, service line, and Quality and Patient Safety leaders, and operations managers, the Project Specialist will translate the stakeholder?s business needs into specific project plans through the development, resourcing, and execution of tools, technology, and tasks. The Project Specialist will oversee the initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing of the projects, providing progress reports to system leadership. Roper St. Francis Healthcare, through a combination of grant and internal funding, has started to develop a Hospital at Home Delivery System capable of delivering high-quality health care services outside the walls of hospitals operated by RSFH. RSFH and BSMH have entered into an agreement to develop and operationalize the Hospital at Home Delivery System throughout the market of both entities. The Hospital at Home model delivers acute hospital-level care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Patients meeting inpatient admit criteria for qualifying medical conditions, such as cellulitis or pneumonia, will be admitted into the Hospital at Home program upon successful completion of a program eligibility assessment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor?s degree required, preferred degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field. MBA/MHA preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare or project management required. Considerable knowledge of program planning, development and budgeting preferred.

Licensure/Certification: CAPM or PMP preferred.

Knowledge/Skills: Must be able to work independently and responsibly with all members of the organization including front-line Teammates through Executive leadership. Ability to facilitate system-wide problem solving using an analytical approach to prioritize and identify optimal countermeasures that will impact metrics. Develop strategies/charters while gaining agreement with multiple stakeholders on scope and metrics to impact. Develop detailed and full-scaled project plans and schedules, project timelines, and negotiating milestones with the project sponsors. Creates Key Performance Indicators to measure progress and results in a visual manner for quick understanding throughout the project lifecycle. Identifying, tracking, and resolving issues that may jeopardize the successful completion of the project. Concisely escalate issues for decision making in a timely manner utilizing tools to educate and objectively recommend the best solution. Utilizes standard project management processes, tools, and methodology Strong written and verbal communication skills. Utilizes MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with MS Project, Visio, and Collaboration Tools experience preferred.
