The HVH Project Lead is a Registered Nurse responsible for defining, planning, tracking and managing HVH initiatives within Hackensack Meridian affiliated hospitals. The position effectively coordinates the resources required for meeting project and HVH research objectives. The HVH Project Lead will assist the Heart and Vascular Hospital with key operational program needs and development with coordination and collaboration. Reporting to the Director of HVH Clinical Operations and working collaboratively with HVH leadership this role will ensure priority programs and research initiatives advance in a timely manner.
1. Responsible for the development and coordination of the implementation of HVH initiatives. 2. Monitor and communicate progress of initiatives across the network as required. 3. Works collaborative with the CTS network service line on priorities/initiatives. 4. Implements databases as required for the evaluation of research and clinical initiatives. 5. Utilizes clinical expertise in the evaluation and clinical data analysis. 6. Team leader in the formulating clinical action plans associated with HVH initiatives. 7. Participate in HVH Research studies as assigned. 8. IRB submissions and regulatory applications as associated with assigned research studies. 9. Assists with protocol development in research studies. 10. Presentation and development of clinical research findings. 11. Provide daily, weekly, monthly project status updates as indicated. 12. Establish priorities among project activities. 13. Prepare reports including case reviews, clinical dashboards as required. 14. Work collaboratively to communicate strategies for projects. 15. Contribute to data governance and cost analysis initiatives. 16. Ability to work collaboratively in complex multi-disciplinary environment.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. 2. 5 years clinical cardiovascular nursing experience. 3. Ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team. 4. Ability to motivate. 5. Microsoft Word and Excel experience. 6. Excellent communication skills. 7. Knowledge of team making management practices. 8. Knowledge of Nursing principles, practices, and techniques. 9. Strong computer skills, Excel proficient. 10. Skill in both verbal and written communication. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: 1. Microsoft applications: Excel, Word and PowerPoint. 2. Statistical experience. 3. Research experience. 4. HUSP experience. Licenses and Certifications Required: 1. NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License. Licenses and Certifications Preferred: 1. Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative Certification.
