Lake City Care Center is owned by the Mayo Clinic Health System with the daily operations managed by Ebenezer. At any given time, as many as 90 people call our Long Term and Transitional Care Center their home. Since we opened in 1978, we’ve served thousands. Our care center is connected to a Mayo clinic and hospital, so residents don't have to leave the building for a clinic appointment or emergency care if needed.
The Hospitality Aide is responsible for supporting the senior residents and nursing staff by assisting with resident needs that do not require specialized health care training.
This position is a casual/on call position with no authorized hours. One can fill in for preplanned needs or help with last minute needs. Requires working 3 shifts per month and 1 holiday per year.

Assists resident with personal cares based on individual plan of care (bathing, oral hygiene, toileting, call lights)
Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff
Performs environmental and other responsibilities as assigned (order and cleanliness, reports malfunctioning equipment to maintenance department)
High School Diploma or GED; Preferred
1 year of experience preferred

As part of our ongoing efforts to protect the wellbeing of our teams and to provide a safe and healthy environment for the patients and communities we serve, all Ebenezer employees will be required to receive both an annual flu vaccination and the COVID-19 vaccination series. Current employees must have completed both vaccination schedules on or before January 4, 2022.
Any new hires who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are required to receive their first dose prior to their start date and their second dose (if receiving Moderna or Pfizer vaccines) within 4 weeks of their start date. Annual flu vaccinations are also required before the employment start date for employees who begin employment during the flu season. Accommodations requests will be reviewed on an individual basis.
