EWINGS is in search of 80 Temporary Healthcare Provider Network Contractors to help build a robust provider network serving disabled Veterans. We are seeking experienced provider network contractors who take pride in their work and would enjoy utilizing their talents to serve one of our most honored populations. This nationwide effort for one of our most prestigious F500 clients offers an excellent opportunity to work with some of the most capable contractors in the industry and further hone your network development skills. For top-producers there is ample opportunity to convert from being a temporary EWINGS consultant to full-time employment with our client during and at the conclusion of the network build. Healthcare Provider Network Contractor Position Highlights:

  • 6+ month contract

  • The final start dates are September 13th and October 4th.

  • 100% Telecommute

  • If candidates do not currently reside in the states they will be contracting in, they must be able to work during normal business hours in the corresponding time zone.

  • Hourly reimbursement starting at $55.00 - $60.00 with the potential for more depending on skillset, experience, and remaining positions available at mid and senior levels (limited slots available)

Position Requirements

  • Network contracting experience with Tricare, Veteran's Administration Community Care Network, or other U.S. Government products.

  • Available to complete a six-month contract.

  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare network development, network contracting, account management, provider services, provider contracting, etc.

  • 3+ years of experience in network fee schedule development using actuarial models.

  • 3+ years of experience utilizing financial models and analysis in negotiating network rates.

  • 3+ years of experience in performing network adequacy and network gap analysis.

  • Intermediate level of knowledge of claims processing systems and guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare, analyze, and review network performance against required access standards.

  • Negotiate and build a stable provider network that achieves objectives for unit cost performance and trend management and produces an affordable and predictable healthcare insurance product.

  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with healthcare providers in compliance with contract templates, reimbursement structure standards, and other key process controls.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and ensure the network composition includes an appropriate distribution of provider specialties.

  • Provide explanations and interpretations for the provider network roster within your area of expertise.
