Six Flags Hospitality Management/Marketing Internship in Spring, Texas

Description

Specific Responsibilities and Key Learning Opportunities:

Assist the Marketing Manager with public relations and communications for any press releases or press events.

Assist Sales/Marketing Representatives at corporate events.

Help with administrative projects and logistics support on all events.

Provide information to inquiring guests about group or corporate orders.

Assist with sponsorships and on site promotions.

Assist with park special events and memberships.

Create newsletters and or flyers for events.

Requirements:

Background in Marketing, Communications, Sales, or other Hospitality related fields.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Well organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, outgoing, and self-motivated.

Possess excellent time-management and prioritization skills.

Ability to handle incoming phone calls and in park interactions with a “guest first” attitude at all times.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Passionate about wanting to learn how to plan and host large events.

Enjoys a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Willingness to work outside for long periods of time in various weather conditions.
