Thomas Jefferson University RN/BSN - Hospital Based Float Pool (Per Diem-Days) Washington Township-Jefferson in Turnersville, New Jersey
Is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and if necessary, delegating patient care for a specified group of patients. Collaborates with physicians, medical professionals and other staff to ensure the quality of care. Provides care for the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult or geriatric patient. Utilizes knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient\#39;s age to ensure that care provided meets the unique, physical and psychosocial needs of the patient. Involves appropriate parties (i.e., patient\#39;s family or guardian, outside agencies) in the assessment, treatment and continuing care of the patient as needed. Assumes a leadership role within the clinical environment. Applies creative solutions to be a positive change agent. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of diagnosis and interventions within area of specialty.
Per Diem - 48 Hours in 6 Week Schedule - Day Shift
Education: BSN required
Experience: 2 years of recent Med/Surg Hospital RN experience required
Licensure, Certification amp; Registration Requirements:
Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of New Jersey. Maintains current licensure
BLS certification through American Heart Association required
Certification in clinical practice area preferred
Membership in Professional Organization encouraged
